This week I test drove our 2009 Toyota Camry. Now don’t get me wrong I’m still a Honda guy, but what I liked about the Camry is it sits a little higher than the Accord and has a smoother ride while cruising down the road. It also feels slightly roomier inside as well. Here’s a photo of the 2009 Toyota Camry:
Around town it in stop and go traffic it drove very well. This Camry features the LE model which has the upgraded 3.5L V6 which puts out an impressive 258 horsepower. Plenty of power to get up to speed and fuel efficient enough to get 20 city and 28 highway miles per gallon. In addition, to local driving I also took this vehicle to Chiefland and back which is close to 80 miles round trip. It was a very easy riding and the addition to cruise control makes it nice to set it and forget it.
Overall impression, over the years Toyota Camry has become the household name for mid size sedans. Is there some options they could have done differently to make it better like moving the AUX port to a more convenient location sure, but overall I can’t complain about the reliability, the room, and the ride that Camry does an exceptional job at.
